RMS Construction Wins Four Hobi Awards
as published by New Canaan News - Review, 11/24/2004

New Canaan resident Randy Salvatore, president of Stamford-based RMS Construction, received four Home Builders Association of Connecticut awards in 2006, sweeping all categories entered on behalf of his construction and development firm.

The HOBI awards recognize the state’s best construction and remodeling projects, judging member entries on excellence in craftsmanship, construction ingenuity and consumer value.

RMS won top honors for the best marketing program for a builder, the best ad and the best brochure promoting the company’s latest project, The Village at River’s Edge. The company was also awarded “Best Mid-Size Attached Community” for The Village at Maple Pointe, which is 63 units spread out across 11 three-story buildings in Stamford.

“Randy Salvatore is one of the most talented and successful young builders in Connecticut,” said Joanne Carroll, publisher and editor of Connecticut Builder magazine, and a member of HBA of Connecticut’s board of directors. She noted his impeccable building standards, outstanding business sense and ability to offer real value to buyers.

The awards committee cited the overall look and feel of the community, noting that the homes were thoughtfully designed to blend into the surrounding New England countryside with manicured lawns, flagstone patios and old style gas lamp lighting. They also commented on the amenities and architectural styling which include balconies, columned entrances, shingle roofs, and stone-and-clapboard facades on the outside and custom-crafted cabinetry with granite countertops, marble baths and spacious living areas inside.

“Every project Randy has undertaken has delivered real value to the consumer,” Carroll said. “He is truly a remarkable individual, a proven talent and an asset to the home building industry.”
